About the Role 

Perry Ellis is searching for Sales Associates who can create an engaging shopping experience for our stylish customers. Responsibilities vary from; ensuring customer satisfaction, merchandising, replenishing of sales floor as well as maintaining the overall visual appearance of the store in order to achieve a high level of service and sales productivity.


  • Welcome and greet customers in a friendly manner
  • Interacts with customers in a courteous, friendly manner (e.g., maintains eye contact, smiles)
  • Demonstrates product knowledge and fashion trends when speaking with customers to drive sales
  • Consistently productive throughout the entire shift (e.g., effectively uses idle time to replenish product, maintain visual displays, engage with customers, etc.)
  • Demonstrates flexibility with his/her schedule
  • Works with a sense of urgency
  • Exhibits professionalism during all interactions with customers, employees, and Managers
  • Consistently meets daily sales goals
  • Self motivated to drive and achieve sales 
  • Works cohesively with other staff members


  • Energetic  and positive attitude
  • Retail experience
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills 
  • Customer service-oriented (outgoing, friendly, and personable with a positive attitude)
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) on the sales floor
  • Must be able to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds
