Provide an exemplary customer experience by maintaining efficient and effective support in all store Operations functions as needed, including but not limited to: Cash Office and Operational Administrative duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Cash Office Support
Executes the Cash Office responsibilities including opening/closing the store and POS, setting up cash wraps to ensure all customer paperwork is accurately filled out and available.
Verifies charge send forms and communicates effectively to Sales Professionals and management on policies and procedures.
Reconciles cash and check deposits and ensures accuracy of store bank.
Reports any discrepancies to appropriate parties when necessary.
Support Sales team at the POS to check out customers and ensure elevated level of customer experience is upheld at all times.
Responsible for processing mail returns and communicating with appropriate Sales Professional upon receipt.
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate to clients on any issues regarding charges, returns, credits, etc..
Ensures policies and procedures are upheld and updated in a timely manner.
Communicates to team on any promotional cadencies and appropriate POS functions to accurately process sales.
Trouble shoots any POS and/or customer facing technology in a timely manner and escalates to appropriate parties.
Rectifies any generic SKU and partners with Asset Protection on any discrepancies in returns or exchanges.
Ensure processes and procedures are being followed by all associates. Bring any discrepancies to the attention of Senior Leadership and/or Asset Protection.
Assist with administrative paperwork including but not limited to sales reporting.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
• Minimum of 2 years of Retail Operations Experience in a cash office / business office, support, customer service, or sales capacity• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong technical skills with the ability to learn new systems easily • Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively • Demonstrated passion and affinity for the Ralph Lauren brand and desire to grow in one’s career with the company • Collaborative team player willing to partner with and support all departments • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Must be able to work shift standing and walking and able to lift approx. 20 lbs • Must be able to pack, unpack and move stock when supporting in receiving / stocking store functions
