PART TIME SUPERVISOR - San Marcos, TX

OVERVIEW

Perry Ellis is searching for Supervisor  who can create an engaging shopping experience for our stylish customers. Responsibilities vary from;ensuring customer satisfaction, merchandising, replenishing of sales floor, coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.

DUTIES &  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks

  • Receive complaints and resolve problems

  • Maintain timekeeping and personnel records

  • Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa

  • Interacts with customers in a courteous, friendly manner (e.g., maintains eye contact, smiles).

  • Consistently greets customers in a prompt, friendly, and welcoming manner.

  • Demonstrates product knowledge and fashion trends when speaking with customers to consult shopper and drive sales (e.g., knowledgeable about product).

  • Consistently productive throughout entire shift (e.g., effectively uses idle time to replenish product,maintain visual displays, engage with customers, etc.).

  • Consistently reports to work on time.

  • Works with sense of urgency

  • Self motivated to drive and achieve (e,g., is motivated by goals, takes initiative).

  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform effective selling techniques.

  • Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role

  • Strong verbal and written skills

  • Ability to lift 30Ibs merchandise onto the  stockroom shelving which may require use of a ladder or step stool

  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

  • Customer service oriented. (outgoing, friendly, and personable with positive attitude .

  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
